Title: The New Ghost
Author: Robert Hunter
Published: 2011
Language: English
Pages: 24
Rating: 4/5
Summary:
A graphic novel about a mans first day as a ghost.
Review:
This is the second one of these short graphic novels from NoBrow I've read, and this one was lovely.
My favorite part is definitely artwork and especially the color palette. I thought it was beautiful, mystical and very atmospheric.
The story in itself is sweet, gentle and heartwarming, but nothing that really blows you away. I don't get the feeling that it's meant to though, as the calmness of it sort of suits the topic of death and the afterlife.
Overall, this was really quite good and I would recommend it if you enjoy more artsy and calm graphic novels. I also think it would make a lovely gift, because it's just so gorgeous.
